Due to the popularity of our songs from Apple commercials article last week I thought it would be a good idea to create a separate list of all the iPod commercial songs.

Thats night the right version. The one actually used is some kinda remix with much higher tempo, it was also used in one of the trailers for Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. If anyone can provide the actual iTunes link that would be awesome cus i cant find it.

The song Rockstar from Nerd was a different version than what you have here. The one used in the commercial was the Jason Nevins Remix. I’ve been looking for it forever so I would appreciate it if it was added to iTunes.

I really don’t want to download all of these songs to figure out which is the right one. I had an Idea for an ipod commercial. It starts with an iphone in a bottle with a text message on it saying something along the lines of,”S.O.S” or “just rescue the phone”. The song should be S.O.S by Rihanna if it says S.O.S. If it says just save the phone, then the song should be message in a bottle by Sting And The Police.
Thats just a thought, take it or leave it, its up to you but if its not a good idea, then try to improve on it untill u like it. Its up for suggestion people.

There is an ipod commercial with a guy and a girl in a dirty apartment filled with records. she gets mad at him and leaves the apartment and when she comes back she can hear his music all the in the hallway so she gets mad again. but when she opens the door the apartment is clean, all the records are gone, and he has an ipod plugged into some speakers. the song in the background is totally awesome and I want it! I don’t think it’s necessarily that they become hits… I think it’s more that they gain instant popularity because that song is in the spotlight. Plus, it’s not like Apple plays bad songs; a lot of them are really catchy.

for those who are looking for the commercials ive found most of them on youtube, and also some on itunes, but the best source is the bay if your a torrent user.
It would be great if they had organized it by date… I’m only asking that because there was a song played ages ago, maybe 2006 with a female vocalist that I’m trying to find. I can’t remember the any of the lyrics just the tune.

What’s that one song for the commercial (it’s recent, but not the newest one) with the people dancing in colorful clothes, with a white background, for an ipod that takes videos? I think some of the lyrics in the song mentions something about a barbecue…..heh I’m not completely sure though.
