Apple joins W3 HTML working group

The W3 consortium, the group responsible for creating web standards has relaunched their HTML standards activity, and Apple has joined in. According to the blog for the developer of Safari, “If you are part of the WebKit community and interested in helping to define the next generation of HTML, Ian Hickson has instructions for how to join.”

Apple is also ramping up its participation in other W3C working groups as well as other standards bodies related to Web technology, according to the company.
