NeoOffice, the open source alternative for Microsoft Office has been updated to version 2.1. According to the website, the main updates are:

* Opening, editing, and saving of Microsoft Office 2007 Word documents
* Execution of Visual Basic for Applications macros in Excel documents
* Support for linear programming extensions for spreadsheets
* The latest features from OpenOffice.org 2.1

There are versions for PowerPC and Intel Mac users and can be downloaded freely from the site.
